The CRAZINESS of the last 4 Months! :-)

I can't believe it's December already! Holy cow. The last 4 months have had there ups and downs for this CRAZY girl. Let's just say LIFE happened and some days are better than others.

Here's what has been happening in my CRAZY but AMAZING life:

Still looking for a job but have decided to go towards starting my own business. I am in the process of trying to get a license to do Child Care. It only took me a few months to decide that this is what needed to happen right now. I was applying for all the nanny/child care jobs I could find (but nothing was working out even when I did get an interview). My parent's offered me the part of the house (basement and kitchen) during the week when everyone is gone to work. I JUMPED on the opportunity and am working on all the paperwork. The GOAL is to be licensed by Februray (but my mom would like everything done by Janurary). I'm waiting to hear on my business name hopefully in the next couple days.

It has been almost 7 months since I started Scentsy. I was an Escential Consultant until October when I moved up to Certified Consultant. I am seriously liking what I am doing and hoping my business gets going more in the next little while. I was hoping to get to Hawaii in June but I don't think I will be able to make it. Oh well there's always the next trip. I am trying to get my team started so if there is anybody interested in joining Scentsy or knows of anybody who would be interested let more know. I have met tons of amazing ladies since I started and I am having a blast.

I am taking a computer class on-line and hopefully will be done with it by Februray.

I'm a huge Twilight fan so I had every intention of going to see New Moon but I'm not one who would go on opening night or the first few weeks. The best time to go to a movie is early afternoon (there's never anyone in the theater), so I decided to go and see it yesterday and I LOVED IT! It was a nice change from the normal everyday rountine. I also saw Love Happens not to long ago and LOVED it as well.

I spent a day with some friends close to Halloween. We went and did a Corn Maze in the afternoon. The funny thing is we were in and out in less then 20 minutes. We also went over and walked through the Pumpkin Walk. It was a lot of fun to spend the afternoon together.

My sister-in-law just had a baby about 2 weeks ago. We are enjoying having Aruthur in the family.

My sister is expecting her first child and is due July 2. We are so excited to also have this addition in the family as well. I am so excited for her.

I am so excited to spend the holidays with the family in St. George and Las Vegas. We haven't had a family vacation for a long time. It should been a fun and relaxing week. We leave the day after Christmas and won't be back until the 2nd of Janruary. Now that's what I call a vacation.

I have the best family and friends anyone could ask for.

I colored my hair and then chopped it off. Isn't it cute? It's time to have it done again.

My CRAZY Summer!

I just realized I haven't posted anything since the end of May. It has been an interesting summer. For the most part I just worked but I was only getting part time hours. We were lucky if we had 10 kids each day.

Here's some of the fun things I was able to do:

• I started going to the Logan Stampede semi-pro football games with a friend but was only able to go to the last like 4 games. I really enjoyed it and kind of miss it now that the season is over. Hopefully next season I can go to more games.
  
• My friend was going to set me up with one of the football players who saw my picture and thought I was cute. I was able to meet him at an after party but nothing else happened with that (at least not yet).
  
• I went to Bear Lake for vacation in July with the family. It was a nice relaxing week.
  
• Two of my friends got married (one in June and one in July) so I had a couple weddings to attend.
  
• I was able to attend the Draper and Oquriah Mountain Temple Open Houses and Dedications.
  
• I went to the temple the beginning of August and did my Endowments.
  
• I was able to go to Scentsy Convention at the Salt Palace in SLC and had a blast. I met a lot of cool Scentsy sisters. I came home with so much free stuff it was crazy. I'm hoping it helped and I can get things going

• I was able to visit some friends in West Jordan while I was in the area for Convention.
  
• I quit my job and don't know what I'm going to do with myself now. My friend and I are trying to brain storm ideas to make money since we're both in need of a job.

A Week full of Fun!

This week was a lot of fun. I had Monday off for Memorial Day and spent the week with the family (icluding Grandparents, aunt and uncle and 1 year old cousin). On Saturday we went to Lunch and spent the afternoon together. Sunday we had dinner and went to the cemetery. Monday morning we went to breakfast at Village Inn and went back to the cemetery. After we stopped at Aggie Ice Cream. It was a great Memorial Day weekend.

Thursday the State came to the Day Care I work at to inspect us. Everything went well and we passed inspection. We also had CPR and First Aid training so I am now certified again. It was only a couple hours and my boss bought us pizza for dinner before the training started.

Friday I got the day off and got my oil changed in my car and cleaned. I also was able to go to a friends Bridal Shower which was a lot of fun.

I spent Saturday with a friend. She did my hair and make up and we went to a park to take pictures that turned out great. I will post some below. I was able to go to the Logan Stampede Football game which was a lot of fun and will probably go again next weekend. Thanks Shannon for letting me spend the day with you and your kids (and Nick of course).

My brother moved back home this weekend from Mississippi where he has been working for the past 2 years and 4 months. I'm excited to have him home and spend sometime with him this summer.

All in all it was an amazing week and I am excited for the week ahead.

My New Business!

I am starting a new business (Well to me it's new).

I got signed up with Scentsy today. I'm so EXCITED. I am waiting to get my supplies. Hopefully this weekend I can get everything organized. If you are interested in any products from Scentsy let me know.

Life is Great!

It has been an interesting week and a half. I have had an amazing week with friends and family. For Cinco de Mayo last week I went to my parent's for dinner. Of course we had Mexican and it was really good. When we first sat down to eat there was this amazing bright rainbow that we had to go outside and look at. It was so cool. My mom got pictures of it and so when I can get those I will post them.

I had a Scentsy party on Saturday and it was a lot of fun. I am going to become a consultant later on in the month and I'm really excited.

For Mother's Day my sister and brother-in-law came up. We had Steak and Baked Potatoes and it was so good. I haven't had steak for a long time and it was yummy.

We had Enrichment on Tuesday. We played games and had a lot of fun. I got to talk to several people later on and had a good conversation with some of my friends. Earlier in the day I helped my friends deliver her wedding annoucements. It took us 4 hours to get them all delivered but we had fun too.

It has been a fantastic week and I especially enjoyed having the day off today. It's nice to have a chance to relax once in a while. I'm looking forward to the rest of my weekend. Tomorrow I'm going down to Salt Lake to see the Joseph Smith movie (I haven't seen it yet) so I'm really excited to finally be able to see it. On Sunday our bishop is getting released. I'm excited to see who the new bishop will be.

Life is Amazing

The last couple weeks have been amazing. I am really enjoying all the experiences I am able to have.

I have been doing a lot of activities with friends. My friend had a Mary Kay and Lia Sophia party a couple weeks ago which was so much fun. I absolutely love Mary Kay and I have gotten more and more in to wearing all the jewelry I get from Lia Sophia. Another friend had a Scentsy party last weekend and I will enjoyed that as well.

I really enjoy getting my nails done and being able to see Shannon and her kids. I love the conversations we have together. I love that we have a really close friendship.

I was able to have a day off last week and got a lot of things done and even had time for some fun. I went to see Monsters vs. Aliens and really liked it. I also went to Lunch and had a good conversation. We also went to a movie on Saturday as well and we saw Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and went to Lunch as well. I was so glad for a break from work and that Steph was able to go see a movie with me.

I am so excited for my new schedule at work which starts tomorrow. I now go in at 7:30 and get off around 1. I am hoping to find something to keep me busy during the afternoons so I'm not bored. It will be nice to have some free time to get things done.

I am so excited for summer to get here. I am looking forward to a fun filled summer and lots of time with my friends.

A Very Busy 3 Weeks!

It has been a while since I last posted on my Blog. I have been busy with a lot of things during the past few weeks.

April Fool's day was just another day for me. Nobody really played any tricks on me. It was hard to believe that it was April already.

I really enjoyed General Confernece a few weekends ago. I was able to spend the weekend at my Grandparent's house in Bountiful. We celebrated birthdays for the past 3 months and it was a huge party. My cousin turned 1 and everyone (excpet my dad and brother, and a couple cousins) were able to be there.

My mom's birthday was on the 8th and I was able to join my mom. brother, sister-in-law, and nephew for dinner at Olive Garden. It was really good and we even had dessert! I even got some really cute pictures of my nephew.

My sister and brother-in-law came up for Easter weekend. We celebrated Easter and my mom's and brother-in-law's birthdays. My dad was in Washington D C for the week so he wasn't able to be there for Easter. We missed him a lot as well as my brother who is in Mississippi. Saturday night we had pizza and watched Bolt. We also went through old pictures and had a fun time looking back at our childhood.

The Easter Bunny came to our house and brought everyone a book and some chocolate.

We had a Ward Talent show on Monday night. It was really funny.

I had a very crazy couple days this week. I watched my friend's three boys. I still had to go in to work so it made for a really long couple days. The boys (for the most part) were really good.

Two of my really good friends got engaged this week. I am so happy for them. I guess I'm going to be busy with weddings this summer. :)

A Long Couple of Weeks

It's been an interesting couple of weeks. Last Sunday I went to the Draper Temple Dedication. I had a really good experience. I've been thinking lately if I am really ready to go through the temple or if I should wait longer but the dedication was amazing and the temple was so beautiful.

My Stake had a Relief Society Birthday dinner and program on the 18th.

My schedule changed at work again. Now I have to be there at 7:00 on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursday are still 7:30. I'm not a big morning person but I have been waking up at 5:30 to get ready for work. It's crazy, I know, but I love it.

My friend and I went to see Race to Witch Mountain last Saturday. I thought it was good but really intense. We also went to Lunch and were able to talk about life. We don't spend that much time together anymore so it's nice to have a chance once in a while to see each other.

I absolutely love my friends. I hate the fact that they all have boyfriends now so it's harder to do things with each other, but they still call (or text) me to see what's going on.

I am ready for Spring but of course it has still been snowing in Utah. I am so ready to go outside and have nice warm weather. Hopefully I won't have to wait to much longer. :)

Ready for Spring

I am so ready for Spring. I hope it doesn't snow anymore. We had a huge snowstorm on Monday and got like 20 inches. It was really crazy.

Monday I went to FHE and had fun playing games.

Wednesday I went spent time with the family.

Friday my roommate and I had game night and had a lot of people over (there was about 20 or more people). It was so much fun.

Saturday I spent most of the day running errands and relaxing. I watched The Little Rascals (SO FUNNY!). It's one of my favorites. My roommate had friends over and we talked until 11.

My roommates and I tend to stay up late and talk. It is so much fun. We have a blast together. This week has been amazing. I'm hoping we have weekends like this all the time.

25! :)

I can't believe I'm 25 now. My birthday was on Tuesday. I had a wonderful day at work. My boss got me a cake and bought us all Lunch. Later on we celebrated with friends and had brownies and ice cream. We also played games. It was an amazing day.
Thursday I had the stomach flu and was able to stay home all day. It wasn't any fun having to stay in bed all day but I was grateful that it only lasted that day.
Saturday night I went to a big bash at our Bishop's house. It was a lot of fun. We had pizza and played games. We even rocked out on Rock Band.
It was a very enjoyable week.

Loving Life

This has been an enjoyable week. Thursday I went to the last class I had to take for work to get my hours for the year. I probably will end up taking another class in a month or two but I took March off. Friday I spoiled myself rotten and went and bought me an iPod Touch. I absolutely love it. I also went to Old Movie Night at a friends house for the evening.

Saturday I spent most of the day at my parent's and helped my mom prepare dinner for Sunday. We were celebrating my birthday with my family and I got to pick the menu and my mom wanted me to help get it ready (but I mostly did it all, at least for the most part). Saturday evening we had Stake Conference.

Sunday we had Stake Conference again and got a new Stake Presidency. I spent the afternoon with my family. We celebrated my birthday and played games. My sister and brother-in-law came up from Ogden and my brother and sister-in-law and nephew were able to be there before they headed south to spend the month with her family.

I am really excited for the coming week and all the fun activities that are planned. I will be "25" on Tuesday. Yes I am a "Quarter of a century".

An Awesome Week!!!!!

This week was amazing. I only worked a couple hours on Monday due to President's Day and not a lot of kids. I went to FHE and had a BLAST. Tuesday I spent the evening with my family. Wednesday I went to a friend's birthday party where we had pizza and cake. Thursday I went to class (I'll be so glad when it's over). Friday I got off work early and got my nails done (they're green for St. Patrick's Day).
To top off my week, I was able to go down to Draper with some friends on Saturday. Our Stake was able to attend the Draper Temple Open House. The Stake provided a lucheon before we headed down. We had an enjoyable drive down in my friend's car. When we got there we had to wait until it was our turn to watch a short movie that told us a little about the temple and the history of Draper. After the movie, we got on a bus that took us up to the temple. I was able to walk through the temple and see how amazing it is. The only time I have been in the temple was to do baptisms for the dead so to be able to go through the whole thing was amazing. It was so peaceful the whole way thorugh. On the way back we stopped for dinner. It was an incredible experience and I was so glad that I was able to go.

Valentine's Day

This week was a lot of fun. I had a Lia Sophia party on Wednesday which was a lot of fun. Thursday I had class again. Friday I spent the evening with Makinzie, Steph, and Melissa. We went to Chili's for dinner, went shopping, and watched a movie. Saturday I went shopping and spent the evening with Becky, Megan, and Missy. We had dinner and watched a movie. It was a very fun evening. I really enjoy having girl's night out since we don't see each other very much anymore.
Other than that not much is going on. But life is good and I am having tons of fun.

A Random Post

I realized it's been a while since I have updated my blog so here is some of the random things I have been up to during the last few weeks.

1. I've gone Western Swing Dancing a coule times with my friend Steph on Wednesday nights. It's a lot of fun but it makes for a late night.

2. I've beening taking a couple classes for work. I took one during the month of January and now I am taking one during Feburary. It's on Thursday nights and I seem to miss everything else that's going on. Oh well.

3. I've seen a couple movies during the last couple weekends. I saw Paul Blart: Mall Cop last Friday with my roommate and went this Friday to see He's Just Not That in To You. They were both really good (at least I thought they were).

4. I have been reading the Chronicles of Narnia. I'm on Book 3 and I'm really enjoying them.

5. I have been hanging out with my friends and family a lot.

Other than that I have been working and trying to keep myself busy.

Enjoying Life

It has been a good week. I was a very long week but it was a lot of fun for the most part. Monday I went to FHE. Tuesday I went to a Lia Sophia Jewelry party at my friend Makinzie's. It was a very fun night with friends. On Wednesday I went Western Swing Dancing with a bunch of friends and that was a blast. Thursday I had class and FINALLY got my new glasses and more contacts. I am so glad I don't have to wear my broken glasses anymore (what a relieve). On Friday I went to a movie night with some friends which was also a lot of fun. Saturday I spent the day with the family and did some sewing for my friend who is having a baby at the end of the month.
I stayed pretty busy this week espically with work and everything but it was a very enjoyable week and I am absolutely enjoying all the things I am able to do.
I am enjoying my roommates even though I don't see them very much.

An Exciting Week

I had an exciting week. I started working with the one and two year olds again and it is a lot of fun. It keeps me busy while I'm at work.
I started taking a class for work. It is a really cool class about creating good child care. Hopefully I will learn a lot in the next few weeks.
I am getting settled into my new place. So far I really like it. It is nice to be out of my parent's house but I really miss spending more time with the family (which is why a come over to visit several times a week.
I went dancing on Wednesday for a little bit with my friend Steph. We were only there for about an hour but it was still a lot of fun.
Saturday I spent most of the day with my family and was able to spend some time with my nephew. I can't believe he's going to be 3 soon.

The New Year!

I worked for a few days this week. On Wednesday I only worked a couple hours and my mom and I went shopping. I got a new bedspread for my bed. I went to the Eye Doctor again to try out contacts for the 2nd time. I went to Makinzie's for New Year's Eve and had a lot of fun with friends. I started moving on Thursday and finished on Saturday. Saturday Makinzie and I went to Wendy's for Lunch/Dinner and went shopping. She helped me move in too and she was a great help :).

I am really enjoying my contacts but still trying to get used to them. I am so excited for the New Year and I hope it is a year of many changes. I will take a picture of my new room and post it later. It's really cute!!!!!
